The Web site for the 2007 National LCMS Youth Gathering , at www.lcmsgathering.com, went live July 1, as planners unveiled the logo for the event set for July 28-Aug. 1 in New Orleans. Although Hurricane Katrina hit recently, no changes have been made for the Gathering. Please check the website for up to date information.

Over the next two years, the Web site rolls out in four waves, each with more features and content for users. So add www.lcmsgathering.com to your favorites list. In addition to important details about the event, the site provides adult-leader resources, youth polls, downloads, and a Gathering store.

Creating connectivity in your church - A small group leadership workshop
November 5, Peace Lutheran New Berlin, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

This small group workshop is created and run by Group Publishing's Leadership division, and geared toward anyone on your staff, lay or paid, who has interest in small group ministry. It covers everything from group dynamics (how to get quiet people talking and controlling people who talk too much), ice breakers, curriculum, how to get started, how to maintain, etc. A member from Peace Lutheran Church attended the training in Loveland, CO and stated it was a "great workshop" and is a fabulous training tool for your lay leaders. The cost of the event is as follows:

	$49 - Individual (includes lunch) for pre-registration through October 31
	$39 - Groups from 2-9
	$29 - Groups of 10 or more
	Add $10 for registrations after October 31
